Biography
William Mai loves playing at the cornerstone of marketing, sales, and creativity. As an entrepreneur at heart, he favours environments where quick thinking, adaptability, and decisiveness must all be utilized effectively. His unique ability to see the full perspective of issues at hand lends itself to making effective recommendations. He has successfully helped launch a number of large-scale online and in-person events, taking on leadership roles in order to execute them effectively.
His entrepreneurial journey began at 18 when he connected with a visionary in Victoria, BC. Here, he saw what a high-functioning, forward-thinking team looked and acted like on a daily basis. Their drive to effectively execute financial, inspirational, and community building activities inspired him to strive to do the same. Quickly, he began involving himself: helping raise over 160,000 for a new paradigm education program and joining the community-enriching Global Shapers of Victoria.
William’s passions exceed beyond community-building and entrepreneurial endeavours. He grew up playing sports of all kinds and still thoroughly maintains the ardent love of them. Beyond this, he enjoys maintaining a healthy diet and cooking amazing food. He has lived on two continents and dreams of travelling to many more countries in his lifetime.
